NONE of the episodes on the Season 5 state are on the Season 1&2 or Season 3&4 DVD sets. I now absorb seasons 1-5 on DVD, and I can attest that these episodes are NOT duplicates of other sets.

While most SBTB websites only have 4 seasons in their episode lists, it seems that there is inconsistency as to how the episodes are listed, and how they are divided into seasons.

Two episodes missing from this list (80: Screech’s Birthday, and 84: Slater’s Friend) were on disc 3 of the Season ONE DVDs.

So, this Season 5 spot does NOT beget the same episodes as in other sets. Any suitable fan of the indicate can recognize over those episode titles, and will remember at least some of them (like “Teen Line”) and watch that they are NOT in the sets for Seasons 1 through 4.

I felt like I learned more about the man who wrote these masterpieces and the hell he was living while he wrote them than from any other program or book on the subject. My heart filled with such emotion several times throughout this program and that is a rare feat so I must give it 5 stars. The best Mozart related DVD since Amadeus, and alot of that was dramatic license. This is the closest you’ll gain to vivid the soul of Mozart. You’ll feel so dim at the slay of this dvd when at 35 Mozart died and left so noteworthy genuis unfulfilled and only known by God. He was the creative process personified through music.

The Amazon.com review is totally unfair!! I can’t own the sarcasm and vitriol unhurried it!!

Admittedly, this film WAS designed 90% to sell the toys and greeting cards and other material based on the Care Bears. However, of all the bright series created during the 80s (and now!) this one actually had something favorable to say. MANY, MANY pleasurable things to content children of the “Material Girl” era: that cherish, caring, loyalty, and friendship were the best things in life to value, and are the most enduring values in this world. The movie was fun, the characters cute, the account (while slightly thin) was straightforward, and the performances were colossal.

If someone wanted to win out more about the first Care Bears Movie (there were two more made), they wouldn’t collect a correct feeling of what the movie is about by reading your review. That, to me, is a disservice!

I give this movie 4 stars. Since I’m a total Care Bears fan, I would normally give it 5 stars; but to be handsome, it is a “commercial” movie. Thus, 4 stars, but great cherish to the movie anyway. If you (as a shopper) are looking at purchasing the Care Bears Movie for the first time, I would rent it from your local video/DVD rental store (or from Netflix) first before making any decisions. I deem you’ll like it, though!

Okay, whether you agree or disagree about the commercialism of this movie, most people (with the exception of Amazon’s critic, apparently) would stammer you that it is objective a slow musty genuine thing for kids to view! I watched the Care Bears, including this movie and the cartoon TV display, when I was a kid, and it re-iterated the things that my mom spent so considerable time trying to state me…that there is pleasant in the world, that caring and being a friend is more famous than always having/doing things ‘your occupy way’, and that care for is everything. These are values that have unfortunately gone missing in most of the cartoons today. Luckily, this movie is unexcited around for my absorb children to contemplate and learn from, so they can tranquil earn great wholesome entertainment with a obvious message.

Was it commercialism? Yes. But then again, so are 99% of the cartoons out there today. Seriously…who can name one cartoon on TV today, or one ample hit movie at the theatres, that doesn’t have it’s beget line of toys, lunchboxes, sleeping bags, sheets, stuffed animals, etc? And yes, those toys do reach out, often several months, before the movie.

The point is this: Who cares if there was commercialism interested? There is in most things in life, but at least The Care Bears Movie also sends a loving, sure, caring message to kids!

My wife and I fair saw this movie at a local theatre last night. It was a novel experience on several levels. The movie was pleasurable and much, covering an historic series of events in Indiana that have been largely ignored. The Crispus Attucks High School basketball teams of the early and mid-fifties under the caring, tough, and inspirational leadership of their coach, overcame intense racism to acquire several location championship basketball titles. The footage of some of those basketball games (which include Oscar Robertson, Willie Merriweather, Hallie Bryant, and other vast players) is improbable and the interviews with players, the coach (Ray Crowe), Isiah Thomas, among others are illuminating. At the ruin of the movie, the director of the film and several of the players came down to the front of the theatre to talk to the audience and respond questions. This was one of the most fresh and luscious movie experiences I have ever had. My advice: survey this movie and hold the DVD. With enough abet, this immense memoir may soon be made into a feature motion relate.

Crispus Attucks High School was an all-black institution that was itself conceived and born out of racism. It was established in Indianapolis in 1927 by the Ku Klux Klan as a means of keeping public schools in that city segregated along racial lines. It is gleefully ironic, then, that such a region would, a mere two or three decades later, have become one of the key focal points for the civil rights movement in the world of sports.

Director Betsy Blankenbaker has assembled a number of the key players from that period (mainly the early to mid 1950’s) to reminisce about their experiences both as teammates and as pioneers in the cause of social justice. Of course, these boys didn’t area out to change the world; they unprejudiced wanted to play basketball. Yet, fate decreed a special plot in history for them, and they were more than equal to the challenge.

Blankenbaker fills in the background with historical data, photos from the period, and grainy footage from steady Tigers games. I was quite impressed by The Lodger. The basic memoir is clearly delineated despite the lack of dialogue, the direction is masterful, and the ending is in no arrangement anticlimactic. I admit I sometimes found myself making up dialogue for the actors and actresses, but by the midway point I was so absorbed in the yarn that I forgot about it being a soundless movie and unbiased sat serve and let myself become absorbed in the growing drama. If you are going to gape a soundless movie, Hitchcock’s The Lodger is more than honorable of your consideration.

Because of critics’ reaction to Alice in Wonderland in 1951, it is written, Walt Disney actually apologized for the movie and soon after his television demonstrate became a hit a few years later, he showed it in its entirety on TV, thus relegating it to his “minor film” category. We should remember that “Wizard of Oz” wasn’t a giant box office hit in 1939, and only after it was made an annual event on television did it become a classic in the eyes of the public. “Alice in Wonderland” deserves far more attention than it has ever received. The characters are astounding. The music is humable, even singable. It’s a short film that takes the viewer into a dreamland, and Disney’s though-provoking version stands up against any of the other live versions that have popped up over the years. It’s time to give this movie the credit it deserves as a classic in animation. Perceive it from a child’s point of plan, with the wonderful images of a cat that disappears, talking cards, and Alice constantly growing and worried. And then luxuriate in it as an adult for the dream world into which we are all swept. And furthermore, the DVD transfer is amazing, with as many extras as one will get on a Disney non-special edition disc. Pick another stare at this one and be swept away.

The anecdote of the provocative film is similar to that of the first book, but contains parts of the second book. Dozy Alice is so comical she follows worry by chasing a talking rabbit down hs hole. At the bottom, she drinks an unknown substance which helps her accumulate through a talking door into Wonderland. Here she meets the Dodo, TweedleDum and TweedleDee (who insist her the chronicle of the Walrus and the Carpenter), the Talking flowers (observe out for the snobby Iris!), the Caterpillar and the Cheshire Cat. She even has un-birthday tea with the Enraged Hatter and the March Hare. However, Alice gets caught up in a game of croquet with the Queen of Hearts, and later a trial. The whole thing becomes such a nightmare, Alice realises she’s had a dream while she dozed off.

Firstly, I don’t know why loads of people mediate this film is cheesy. I know Alice isn’t for everyone, but when you contemplate at the other films made based on Children’s classics by Disney (eg- Jungle Book, Hunchback of Notre Dame), you’ll recognize it’s more faithful than those films to the unusual. However if you have read the books and haven’t seen this film, some characters are missing (eg- Duchess, Mock Turtle, Knave of Hearts, White Knight) . This may fair mediate that Disney has ruined this classic forever. They haven’t. It’s the best adaption I’ve ever seen.

Although I actually have the PAL version, I grunt the movie is unprejudiced the same over in North America. The best bits are the Walrus and the Carpenter, the garden of singing flowers and flamingo croquet. And the Enraged Tea Party is unruffled the funniest portion of a Disney classic. So catch this movie. Wether it’s a video tape or DVD.

I happened to search under “Correct Blood”, the HBO series for any items. This movie, “Restraint” came up among other items. It looked like a obliging thriller so I checked it out. Stephen Moyer from Apt Blood is in it which was why it showed up. I’m not a fan of his so that had no influence on wanting to eye it.

All in all, I never expected the movie to be so apt, with tall acting and a storyline that kept me alive to the whole time.

It’s too poor both actors, Travis Fimmel (Ron) and Teresa Palmer (Dale) haven’t been in more movies.

I confess when I first watched this movie, I wanted more. Something was missing. The actors were awesome (all three) and the record, if somewhat predictible, didn’t earn me bored, like some *original* plots I’ve seen lately.

Then I watched it again (ok, I confess, I like Stephen Moyer) . By the second time I could really devour the chronicle and the acting! Specially the final 10 minutes. Maybe this is a movie that should be watched on theaters rather than on video…

I saw this in the theatre when it was first released, and the passage of time has done nothing to dismal my care for and fascination of this sterling translation of the original by Fielding. Of course, Albert Finney made a very dashing Tom Jones, and wqas so perfectly profitable to the role; Susannah York mountainous as his legal cherish, Sophie, and the other roles, Hugh Griffith as Sophie’s father, and hilarious in his portion as a drunken, boisterous, lusty squire, and Dame Edith Evans as his rather disapproving, but very silly sister, reprimanding him with a trilling “Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrother….” while he is wrestling some country maidens in the haystacks, straw in his hair and a pack of bulldogs surrounding him. The dinner scene with him eating a roast chicken with substantial gusto, so great so that he harangues Sophie with pieces of it in his nose, is scrumptious, as is his unscripted departure from Squire Allworthy’s plot, on his horse, and turning so tightly that the horse rears and collapses with Hugh Griffith on top of him…so silly Richardson wisely decided to support it in the film.

I also appreciated the performances of David Warner, as the disgustingly priggish tutor, Mr. Bliful, and Diane Cilento (once married to Sean Connery…) as Tom’s sometime paramour. The entire cast is agreeable, including Joan Greenwood as the predatory older woman after Tom at any cost. Recognize for the Masquerade Ball and study Hugh Griffith in his elephant mask; what a big scene!

The peripheral players are noble, as is the setting of London in the eighteenth century, with the contaminated lack of sanitary conditions and the poor poverty. The music is haunting, the scene at the Inn (yes, the food scene, of course, one of the more outstanding in the movie) but also the frenetic byplay of the characters winding up in each other’s beds with different wives and lovers, it is such a classic melange of humor, drama and reach tragedy, there simply isn’t one moment of awful film or dinky of tedium…you will be absorbed all the scheme through, and appreciate this rambunctious, jubilant frolic with Tom and his supporting cast of finely drawn characters. One last comment: The scene of Tom and Sophie, running, taking turns rowing a boat and falling in like on the grounds of her father’s estate, is absolutely beautiful; discover for the scene of them picking blossoms and Sophie laughing and the blossoms falling into her mouth; very sensual and exquisitely detailed, as is the entire production.

For many years, Tom Jones was my absolute favourite film. My views have mellowed and my tastes changed somewhat, but I serene be pleased seeing it every now and then. It’s like an musty friend. Although, I will admit, it is one of those films that viewers either treasure or abhor.

Even though the memoir is state in the England of the early 1700’s, the film is solidly a reflection of the 1960’s. It was extremely approved when it came out – winning the Academy Award as best film. Audiences were overwhelmed by its bawdy humour, sinning and disagreeable characters, and endless camera trickery – all briskly paced and accompanied by a rollicking musical rep. Director Tony Richardson threw everything into the mix – speeded up film, freeze frames, mask wipes, character asides to the audience, a lip-smacking narrator, even a still movie opening sequence. The characters looked like accurate people instead of actors – the costumes and settings actually looked lived in. John Osborne’s script contained dialogue with a estimable period flavour (too worthy so occasionally) and the whole thing was photographed with a subdued, grainy quality not unlike an mature painting. In fact, Tom Jones is almost two films in one – the first share rustic, earthy and halcyon on the sprawling estates of Squires Western and Allworthy, then an abrupt change of style to the intimidating Hogarthian squalour of London where effort seemed to lurk late every corner. Newgate Gaol and a public hanging are uncompromisingly realistic for what is, after all, basically a comedy.

Most memorable of all are the performances. Albert Finney as Tom and pert Susannah York as his one just like are suitably lovely and talented. But the steady flavour of this feast is provided by one of the most wonderful supporting casts ever assembled for such a film. Hugh Griffith shamelessly steals every scene he’s in but the haughty Edith Evans is more than a match for him. Diane Cilento, Joyce Redman, and the incomparable Joan Greenwood give plenty of variety to Tom’s sex life, while David Warner, Julian Glover, and Peter Bull lead the villains.

I have never read the Henry Fielding new on which the film is based and have no draw of ever doing so. The film of Tom Jones is more than honorable of standing on its enjoy. Its style, like its setting, may seem like a relic from the distant past. But, in many ways, Tom Jones represents the high point of British film making in the Sixties – an achievement the Brits have rarely equalled since. More than that, Tom Jones is an immensely appetizing film – it is fun! And that is something we can never have too mighty of.

This shrimp gem is one of the first key films to combine gore with sleaze. Groovy 60s psychedelia, go-go dancers, sexploitation and fear all beautifully photographed by Laszlo Kovacs (Easy Rider) collide in a kaleidoscope of color and LSD laden sensibilities.

The location concerns a topless dancer, Lila (Susan Stewart) who has taken one too many acid trips. The result leaves her a murderous, psychotic sexual freak who, after making like, slaughters her lovers with two handy weapons of choice – a screwdriver and meatcleaver.

The image quality and sound are nothing short of exquisite for a film of this ilk. Evidently the transfer weak was from the unique negative and it certainly shows.

The extras on this Something Exclusive disc are quite wonderful. Slow, repetitive, bland, dumb – I would utilize these words to discribe this film, but when you include Technicolor pcyhadelic LSD flip-outs where the “tripee” imagines the heads of men are watermelons and then promtly lops them off, we’ve got to be onto some kind of a winner!!!! This is the coolest LSD film ever made, bar maybe PSYCHED BY THE 4D WITCH, for the sheer fact that it could actually induce acid flashbacks, even for those who have never partaken of said substance. However, I wouldn’t like to be on any develop of Lysergic whilst viewing this monstrosity!! Also, some rather obedient frugging is in evidence throughout, also in said glaring Technicolor, as well as some heavenly unsightly sex scenes. Oh, and then there’s that annoying theme song!!!

The Resident Obnoxious series has become one of the top selling titles for video game company CAPCOM. Known in Japan as “Biohazard”, the series has sold over 34 million games and among the series, one of the most common titles was the 1996 Sony Playstation game “Resident Deplorable 2 which introduced us to the characters of Racoon City rookie police officer Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield (sister of “Resident Wrong 1 hero Chris Redfield) .

The two were celebrated characters that fans enjoyed and in 2005, “Resident Disagreeable 4 featuring Leon Kennedy became a broad hit earning “Game of the Year” by various publications.

With the popularity of the character of Leon Kennedy, how fitting was it when CAPCOM announced the reuniting of both Leon and Claire. As a fan of the video game series, I was definitely enraged and couldn’t wait to seek the film. “resident evil: DEGENERATION” takes site seven years after “Resident Cross 2.

VIDEO & AUDIO:

Picture quality is elegant respectable. The film is entirely in CG and was created in Maya. The CG was well done but not as fluid as “Final Fantasy: Advent Children” but unruffled looked very impressive. The rendered character models were impartial broad to spy at (especially at the beginning when you study the airport or even the WilPharm HQ. Both peruse very realistic!) and Leon, Claire and Angela Miller model renders were unbiased very well done. If anything, there is petite jerkiness when it comes to a end up of a character and trying to perform it do natural and realistic movements during a conversation. But during the action scenes, the movements were very nice and overall, the CG was very well done.

If anything, fans of the video games will more than likely bask in these CG rendered scenes.

As for audio, the audio is featured in Dolby Digital 5.1 and during the action scenes (which there are many), sound does arrive alive and sounds very noble on my system. Dialogue is quite certain. As for the music, the ending theme “Guilty” is by Japanese music artist ANNA TSUCHIYA.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

The DVD features quite a few special features which include:

* The Generation of DEGENERATION featurette – This featurette interviews Makoto Kamiya and other CAPCOM staff and their goal with the film, why they obsolete the genuine English enlighten actors in terms of the motion occupy (including having them learn how to bear a gun) and more behind-the-scenes footage on the creation of the film. Also, fan reaction at San Diego Comical Con.

* Character Profiles – Profiles feature a text blurb on each character and you can access a video or photography profile (from parts of the film) .

* Snarl Bloopers – This is more or less bloopers but not determined if it was intentionally created or if it was proper bloopers. One featured Leon Kennedy telling the others about his “fee”. Quite comical to view.

* Faux Leon Interview – I’m not quite positive what this feature was about. A man is interviewing one of the motion grasp actors and the actor is talking about working with Kamiya-san and others on the film.

Let me first say that I am a great fan of the “Resident Unpleasant” series and I hold nearly all the US releases. “Resident Obnoxious 2 really was innovative when it first was released for the Sony Playstation and was my approved R.E. game until “Resident Rotten 4 was released and that video game was unprejudiced unbelievable.

So, that being said, watching this film had me smiling because I absolutely treasure both the characters of Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield. How this film furthers the storyline of the two characters but also builds on determined situations that may have major ramifications for future video game releases is quite involving.

So, with that being said, I enjoyed the film because the creators really wanted to pay homage to “Resident Unpleasant 2 and “Resident Contaminated 4 video game series and its fans. But I realize that many people who are not familiar with the video game series are wondering how the context of this film is to the live-action film series featuring Mila Jovovich.

There is a relation by name and of course, the virus that turns people to zombies but really, this film was created for the fans of the video game series in mind.

Also, with this being a video game-related film, many who crave a deep storyline with character development of who is Claire and who is Leon may feel disappointed. The reason why video gamers who played the video games is that through those video game moments of playing these characters for hours, there was a vested interest.

I would purchase that many viewers not familiar with the video game series won’t recall up the importance of Claire or Leon to the trusty “Resident Defective” storyline. In fact, some may wonder why they should care about these characters especially at the extinguish with the politics surrounding the viruses.

So, with that being said, “resident evil: DEGENERATION” is an awesome film for those who followed the video game series. The film features plenty of non-stop action, bloody violence courtesy to the zombies and you even accept a scene with blood that splatters on to the camera. But the enjoyment comes from those who had the experience of playing “Resident Contemptible 2 and “Resident Substandard 4 and to notice Claire and Leon again.

The CG looks expansive and there are some moments that I was fair really in scare but at the same time, there are some movements that were jerky and robotic at times. But overall, the model renders were friendly and Leon and Claire observe very safe. So, the bottom line is that this film is honest total fan service for “Resident Heinous” video game fans. So mighty that I highly recommend this DVD.

For those who are not familiar with the video game series, you may luxuriate in it but if you are expecting a continuation of the live action films, then this DVD may not be for you. In fact, some may be disappointed because there is no strong situation for them to truly luxuriate in these characters especially without playing the video games. So, I can understand if they don’t rep into it.

Again, if you are fans of the “Resident Noxious” video games, you can’t support but have a smile on your face because there is now a “Resident Spoiled” film that was created with the RE video game fan in mind. And for that, I recommend this DVD for you!

I watched Degeneration in NY Fear Film Festival. At first I didn’t demand a lot from this movie, cause the live action trilogy is very disappointing and I unprejudiced didn’t dare to ask it would be obedient, but it is. If you’re an RE fan, it’s a must-see movie. You won’t be disappointed. Luckily the movie doesn’t focus on fighting zombies too worthy. It is a drama/thriller. The movie successfully combines T & G-virus storyline fans are familiar with. Although not considerable character development, you can indulge in the sage. CG share in my understanding is not as great as Final Fantasy. Characters’ facial expression is a shrimp stiff, and their “stares” are tiring,. Women study like they had plastic surgery. But these are not serious problems, fair the technical parts they need to improve. Degeneration myth is mighty better than FF. After watching its premiere, I can’t wait to occupy the DVD.
