It clear is nice to give give Mars Daybreak 4 stars again. After the mediocre volume 3, Volume 4 shoots the series befriend to the caliber of its first 2 volumes. The action and fun is relieve and filler is kept to a minimum. Volume 4 brought assist the thrill of adventure that sucked me into the note and now it has deepened the legend and characters even more, especially with Vestimona and her fresh alliance. (Dont really care for that change but hey, I know I cant have it all my intention.) Hopefully Vestimona will return to her comrads later on. Speaking of her comrads, its stout to look that the writers didnt forget about them. Even though they are tranquil shown very tiny, it looks like my girl Rosetta has taken over for Vestimona. As for Grahm, its nice to sight him thinking about Vestimona a diminutive more the plan that she belief of him. Feelings are deepening and even though Id like to stare a suitable flashback of them it was at least nice to peek him thinking of her when she was younger, leading me to own he quiet has something to piece. Anyway, 2 more volumes to go and we now know the destination of the worship and after watching volume 4, Im clear it will be an awesome race.

If you have a child who loves the zoo.. then this is the video for you. My son loves going to the zoo and he enjoys Barney music so this was a perfect video. I wasn’t certain if this video had actually LIVE zoo animals or if they were going to exhaust pretend ones… this is the right stuff! You discover Elephants, Hippos, Lions and so considerable more. It felt like you were really at the zoo. Barney, B.J. & Baby-Bop took you on the zoo prance from starting out by buying you a stamp to getting you a drink of lemonade to spacious info. about the animals and let’s not forget about the Barney animal songs. It is a steal you won’t be disappointed with.. My 10 & 8 yrs olds witness it along with my 5 yr obsolete!!

My 16 month passe granddaughter loves Barney but the only Barney video she would peek was “Pronounce and Dance with Barney”. We bought other Barney videos that she wouldn’t give the time of day to. When we bought “Let’s Go to the Zoo”, we figured she wouldn’t notice it either but we wanted to give it a try since she loves animals. She absolutely loves it and we search for it many, many times a day. You collect to study so many different animals finish up. I know all the words to all the songs. There is honest something about Barney, Baby Bob and BJ with all of those unbelievable animals. If you are not able to pick up to the Fort Worth Zoo, you can leer it all on video. Simply magnificant and highly recommended. I judge I’ll purchase another in the event she wears this one out.

Honestly, I conception this movie was improbable. I have been furious to glimpse this since I read about it in Fangoria a few months help. The only other film I had seen Emily Blunt in was Devil Wears Prada, which was not my cup of tea, but she was best portion of that film. And there aren’t a lot of people that ‘do’ creepy as helpful as Martin Donovan’s cop; and he does not dissapoint in this either. Emily’s co-star, Ashton Holmes, from History of Violence, was perfect as the alarmed, slightly stalkerish ‘guy’. The non- utilize of character names for Blunt and Holmes’ characters fair adds to the erieness (? ) of this film. However, the record is so friggin superior that you don’t witness these two don’t have names! And the fact that these two are, for the most piece, the only two faces on the cloak for 90% of the film, is a statement to their acting ability that they can have the audience. I felt kind of dusky as I read some of the other reviews of this film, as I relaized that no one gets paralyzed, or better, creeped out anymore by something as simple as a blurred figure walking by a wrecked car, with a girl inside, in the middle of a snowbank. Believe about it, you’re alone in a car that honest crashed, on a desolate road mind you, into a snowbank. The driver leaves to salvage befriend, leaving you to attempt to tape up the gap in the window. Your breath has fogged the windows to the point that you cannot clearly peek outside. There isn’t a soul insight. Or so you mediate. Suddenly there is movement outside the window. You can’t perceive who it is; win it’s your friend…except this figure keeps shuffling by the car…oblivious to it and the person inside. It’s pitch shaded, snow is falling and you need relieve. What do you do? Obviously you have to glance this scene to really procure the plan of what these characters went through. But it was creepy as hell. I deem, unfortunatly, that we have all become so desensitized (sp? ) to blood and gore that when we peep a dismay film we quiz bloodshed. And when we don’t obtain it, then the movie is no expedient. judge Phantoms with Affleck, McGowan and O’Toole. A phenomenal movie! Unreal sounds (C’mon, when has Patsy Cline’s “I Descend to Pieces” given you chills, in a scary intention? ) and visuals etc…A town, completely void of humans, when only hours before it was a normal, operating town. Well, Wind Chill has a very similar feeling to Phantoms. It’s fair dull creepy and spooky. No, there isn’t bloodshed, or chainsaws ripping through people, and mind you, I worship those movies as well, but this does it with atmosphere, pure and simple. Please give this movie a chance. Don’t go in with expectations other than “I wanna be panicked and creeped out.” If you examine Hostel or F13, you will be disappointed. And remember, The Changeling, The Others, and Ghost Fable were apprehension movies too. Each without (or finish to it) a tumble of blood hitting the shroud. They all did it with narrative, atmosphere and acting. And so does Wind Chill.

First of all, I liked this movie. Parts of it were telegraphed and some things that happened were a puny hard to enjoy, but overall I liked it. So why only 3 stars? Well, after a graceful salubrious thrill lag with some twists and some scares, we were given a attractive hokey ending like they had done everything they wanted to do and said: “Well, okay, let’s raze this puppy and regain it out to distribution.” A few other things that kind of tested the limits of thought I would save up with (even in a ghost epic) sort of lowered my idea of this movie. It was supposed to be 30 below zero outside. That’s cool, and the characters were acting wintry, but not 30 degree below zero wintry. And when it’s 30 below zero can you really support the colorful headlights on all night without the car running? What kind of a battery did that guy have in that thing? And how many girls have you gone out with who not only know how to tap into a telephone junction box on top of a telephone pole, but who would be able to climb the thing and tap into the box in 30 below zero weather? For that matter, how many guys could do that? Of those I’ve met in my lifetime, I would say perhaps….NONE!!! Okay, maybe one. Maybe. Despite the positive flaws though, this was not a poor blueprint to pass 90 minutes. The acting was decent and the spot was not poor. I don’t know about owning it though. Probably not, but worth a rental.

You need a lot of patience to peek Gasaraki but it is well worth it. With every episode the display gets more and more mysterious. The gawk of the demonstrate is fantastic, the animation is stout, but its the compeling and complex narrative that keeps me coming befriend. There are a lot of parts where people are discussing strategy. I had to stare some parts twice to understand what was being said. Even though Symbol and the Gowa family seem to want the same thing: control of everything going on, we never shown why this control is so valuable to them and how the two kai, Yushiro and Micharu, fit into the equation. I’m certain by the ruin we’ll have more questions than any answers.

Yushiro and Miharu finally build there blueprint to Kyoto but I don’t want to spoil any of the episodes so I won’t discuss them. However, I do want to say that ADV tries so hard to earn a worthy DVD yet they seem to fail so miserably. This being the 6th volume I finally had to say something.

The DVD menus are elegant. They observe nice but the main menu takes time to load and the menu music which is colossal within the context of the demonstrate gets really annoying.

The extras are colossal with the interviews, slack the scenes sketches, glossaries, and meccha & character explanation. HOWEVER, they are almost impossible to idea in that the text is so runt making it very difficult to read and I have a 25″ shroud.

The subtitles are hard to read at times. ADV seemed to have this ample opinion where when people talked over each other they’d consume white for one person and yellow for the other. HOWEVER you never know which text is for whom, and the text is so lengthy that sometimes you have to cease to read it all.

Three (3) episodes on this disc. Teach. I’m not positive which company made it well-liked region to stick 26 episodes on 8 dvds but I know they could have easily stuck them on 4 to 6 dvds.

Here is a quote from earlier in the show:

Buy,Download, Or Stream Gasaraki – Fires of War! Click Here

“I would occupy to not construct inquiries into affairs that are already in the past. However, I will not sit by and let the seeds of future problems purchase root.”

Just as Daizaburou Gowa questioned Kazukiyo’s intentions for sending the TA’s to Belgistan, I have to ask Charles Solomon’s editorial review of this volume.

Yushiro and Miharu traveled to Kyoto (in the previous volume) ‘following the path of the kai’ in order to learn why the Kugutsu threw away their power and abandoned their kugai, but more importantly to learn about themselves and their past. They reached Kyoto and they learned, so now we no longer need to lement over this ‘path of the kai’. As a result, the narrative moves on, not losing any track of where it is going. In this DVD all of the stuff that Nishida & company have been talking about beings to descend into region. As the befriend of the box says, “the seeds sowed by Symbol and Gowa commence to reap their bitter fruit. Like dominoes toppling over one by one, the barriers holding succor the fires of war open to crumble and the futures of Japan hangs in the balance.”

I’ll admit it, Gasaraki isn’t easy to follow, but it is ment to be this map. Gasaraki is not a linear anime where episode after episode after episode is spent lementing over one goal. The fact that everything is not layed out one thing after the other and that not everything is fully explained good away is what is so astonishing about this series.

That said, if you do your best to observe this in a linear fashion, thinking that there is only one central goal (like ‘Symbol is the terrible guy, extinguish them’ or ‘following the path of the kai’) you are going to be unbiased as uninterested and unbiased as lost and confused as Mr. Solomon. It seems to me that detractors are passionate about bashing this series because of this.

After suffering DVD bootlegs of these two titles these past years, it was nice to finally net both of these films officially, and on the same disc. I hafta say, the transfer quality is decent and offers crisper viewing of both films if you’ve only seen VHS transfers-to-DVD courtesy of Ebay as I only had, so I can’t really complain.

There are definitely parts in both that are washed out/speckled, but not so distinguished that they’re annoying. One of the wintry things I luxuriate in about these Arkoff double features is BOTH FILMS are featured on ONE SIDE of the disc. There’s none of that double sided nonsense which ultimately renders one unlucky playing side scuffed over time. Here, the movie art is screened onto the topside of the disc and once in, there’s a menu to purchase you to either film.

For me at least, the main reason to witness these films is the monsters in them. The Paul Blaisdell (sp? ) shoestring budget, classic monster creations are a pleasure to gape despite not being featured as prominantly as this viewer would like. If you have misfortune stomaching old-school cheapie monster suits, then pause far away, especially if you’re an unshakable CGI accolyte cuz these rubber suits will compose your eyes bleed and send you into seizures. But if you grew up on old-fashioned Celebrated MONSTERS issues and model kits, you could probably be pleased the creatures at least. The films:

“DAY THE WORLD ENDED”: I’d only seen a bulky frame of this flick, so it was nice to peek it letterboxed or whatever that’s called. There’s parts of the pic’s image (the sides, the top & bottom are the same) I’d never seen before in my musty copy. The acting throughout is typical 50’s…a dinky….err….. well….ALOT on the melodramatic raze, but hey, if you’re watching weak school flicks, this shouldn’t surprise you. I found the father …the man whose house all of the survivors gravitate to, to be a limited grating through most of his performance….in fact there’s a point in the film when he demands his daughter basically marry the Richard Denning character to populate the original world which was not only comical in that ‘ooooooh uh uh, no he didn’t’ kind of draw to almost feeling like nails on a chalkboard it is so painful to see, despite it trying to play as a heartfelt ….uh….heartfelt….uh……anyway…..

Buy,Download, Or Stream Day the World Ended/She Creature! Click Here

“THE SHE-CREATURE”: Man…I cherish the suit originate of this monster. Waiting for her to appear makes watching this mostly stilted movie bearable. I didn’t get it as poor as a few people I know….certainly no more bad than other drive in flicks that I accept huge pleasure suffering through, but it isn’t all that immense either. The Hypnotist is such an over the top wannabe-all-powerful- villain, he’s a pleasure to gape….most of the time. The chick who’s under his spell is a 50’s hottie, though her innocent victim portion got a minute grating after a bit, I kept waiting for her to bite her knuckles in typicall 50’s fashion. Her ‘Hero’ was a bit stiff throughout his performance (no pun intended hehe;-) But hey…..remember…it’s all about waiting for the monsters.

OVERALL: They’re drive-in movies from scheme back-I adore this stuff. My friends sometimes wonder why I bother with them. There’s a heavy does of nostalgia interested, but there’s also the fact that I can utilize 30 bucks at a theater these days and aloof wobble out hating the movie. Here, for less than 15 bucks, I come by two films…infinite cigarette and bathroom breaks and no one chopping it up on their cell phones one or two seats over. These drop somewhere between Opinion 9 and HOUSE ON Horrified HILL in viewability if that tells you anything. For the note, they’re definitely worth it. Now when does INVASION OF THE SAUCERMEN arrive out??????

NOTE: I give this entire package 4 stars for being a double feature and a value at its notice. I’d give each film a 3 on their maintain. Since these are supposed to be reviews of the PRODUCT as well as films, I needed to buy that into memoir. So don’t none o’ ya’ll email me screaming about how terrible you notion the films were but bought it because you expected a 4-star feature…lol!!!;-)

I’ve been waiting for some time for someone to finally release a copy of Day the World Ended in widescreen as it was originally released. Unfortunately, Lionsgate did it Unfavorable. Although they obviously feeble a genuine widescreen print as their source, for some reason of their fill they formatted it into the sinister mask ratio for their DVD–using 2.35 to 1 instead of the current 1.88 to 1, which cuts off the top and bottom of the narrate (in one scene, for example, you gather to gawk a talking NOSE at the bottom of the camouflage) . This is portion of a disturbing trend among DVD producers, who are apparently trying to cater to the widescreen TV crowd (which makes it even MORE original that Lionsgate went 2.35 to 1–as it will have to be letterboxed even on a widescreen TV!), at the expense of the current film formats (which sometimes results in people with half-heads and no feet) . At least She Creature is rotund camouflage (closer to the modern 1.33 to 1 ratio), but the print is a bit sad.
