My 7 month used baby absolutely loves Holpa, and all of the Hopla dvd’s. He’s been watching the same 3 since he was born. Ive never seen a cartoon like this before. My son constantly watches it several times a day everyday and everytime i gaze at the tv i gape something different. Hopla is filled with such a diverse range of activities that you dont know what is coming next, and having this on my tv all day, somehow it doesnt seem repeative or like im watching the same parts over and over again. the music is calming, and the pictures are intellectual and interactive. A must-have for your child. (Hopla also comes free through the netflix and Xbox 360 alliance, thats how i inspect it!)

This DVD is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. I wasn’t positive about it, but I liked the Parents’ Choice Awards review, so I bought it for my 4 year worn nephew. He LOVES it. There are games- like matching, etc., and my nephew particularly likes the segments where things are “drawn” and the kids are supposed to guess what the object is before the drawing is complete. It’s really well made and high quality. This is a DVD he asks for again and again, and I deem it’s fair really sweet and modern. Give this a try if you have an older preschooler. They’ll learn a lot and really devour it!

VeggieTales launched 10 years ago with this video, which includes two shorter segments. The first, “Tales from the Crisper,” teaches Jr. Asparagus that he has nothing to alarm because “God is Bigger then the Boogie Man.” The second retells the myth of Daniel in the Lion’s Den with songs feature Larry as the hero and Archibald Asparagus as King Darius. (Mr. Nezzer hadn’t been created yet.) In between is the very first comical song, “The Water Buffalo Song.”

Watching it again this weekend, I was struck by two things. First, how mighty fun this video is. With Jr. they perfectly captured a exiguous kid and his logic and created some truly humorous moments with talk about the slime monster. Although the funniest moment belongs to Daniels chatter as he’s being carried to the lion’s den. The second is how far they and the technology have reach. By today’s standards, the animation is terrible. Their original projects with bigger budgets are considerable better looking. However, that doesn’t affect the fun at all. I almost guarantee that you’ll have one song or another stuck in your head after watching this.

If there’s a better intention to disclose kids Bible truths then this series, I certain don’t know what it is. They’re truly inspiring for the entire family. Heck, I bewitch them and I don’t even have kids.

High quality computer animation and Christian themes has made this one of our family’s accepted videos in only 3 short days! Bob (a tomato) and Larry (a cucumber) are vegetables that our three pre-school age children laugh and voice along with as the characters account for there’s no reason to be timorous of the dismal because “God is bigger than the Boogie-man.” Larry also stars in the title role of “Daniel and the Lion’s Den,” a sizable fable told in a manner and fashion for young viewers to understand and characterize to. The video closes out with a short scripture for young viewers which helps children learn biblical verse and how it can apply to their young experiences. As soon as other videos are released (currently only one other “Veggie Anecdote” video is available out of a series of nine) we will expeditiously be adding them to our collection. A clear must for parents who region high standards (quality and morally) for what their children notice if they must peek TV. We can’t say enough righteous things about the video. Slay

You earn the beauty of astonishing castles AND the keen history of the events notion to cause the disturbances.

It’s bloody helpful fun for everyone. In my concept, it’s hands down the most though-provoking “ghost” documentary out there and would be fabulous for anyone looking to construct up the atmosphere with a different episode each night approaching Halloween.

I’m so tickled they finally released all of the Castle Ghost series on one DVD. You bag Castle Ghosts of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Mammoth stories and pleasing scenery. These were formerly on separate VHS tapes and not easy to gather. If you like ghost tales and recreations, this is a mountainous DVD for you.

Looking for amusing song collections on DVD? Then you’ve near to the good spot. This station collections all three laughable song collections plus a modern fourth disc.

Buy,Download, Or Stream VeggieTales – The Complete Silly Song Collection! Click Here

Disc one is the unusual. “Very Amusing Songs” collects music from their first few videos. It includes words down at the bottom so you can whisper along with such hits as “Dance of the Cucumber,” “God is Bigger,” “The Water Buffalo Song,” and “The Current, Improved Bunny Song.” Along the design, Larry introduces the first ever VeggieTales workout, home improvement, and success videos. This is also our first meeting with “The Pirates who don’t do Anything.”

Disc two is the second sing-a-long video. “The Extinguish of Silliness!?!” finds Larry despondent in a diner mourning the loss of the “Humorous Songs with Larry segments. Along the intention, we fetch to hear such classics as “Stuffmart Rap,” “Cheeseburger Song,” “Song of the Cebu,” “and “Promised Land.”

The third disc in this location is “The Ultimate Funny Song Countdown.” The only share to be previously released on DVD, this indicate counts down the first ten comic songs according to fan votes. What will be the number one song?

The final disc is all unusual. This disc is a humorous song jukebox. With 35 songs to decide from, you can rob the songs and the order they play in. Or you can let the machine settle at random. Either plot, sit aid and relax to some funny music and video. Included on this disc are classics from the first videos and recent songs like “Hope’s Song,” “Sport Utility Vehicle,” “Bellybutton Song,” and “Schoolhouse Polka.”

Granted, the last two discs have lots of overlap from the first two. But depending on what you want to look, it’s not that dreadful. And for the tag per disc, you really can’t complain. The only song collection missing is one they released to promote Jonah.

Each of the first three discs have audio commentaries, leisurely the scenes interviews, games, how to diagram segments, and more fun.

If you cherish your veggie songs, amusing and other wise, this status is for you. You’ll be singing and laughing for hours at the silliness while learning some Biblical truths in the process.

Of the 4 discs in this position, 3 of them have been released before (although two were previously only available on VHS) . The songs are all expansive, as usual, although many clips are repeated throughout the collection.

The only ‘new’ disc in this area is the Veg-o-rama Jukebox, and I put a question to it’s only in this residence because anyone who purchased it separately would have returned it in hiss frustration. For one thing, I don’t enjoy there are any songs on this disc that aren’t already covered on the three other discs in the collection. But the main pickle here is its interface.

In order to play any songs on this disc, you have to navigate through a virtual jukebox interface, flipping through many pages of songs, selecting the ones you want to hear, and then picking “Play selections.” If you don’t resolve any songs, it doesn’t do anything. There is no auto-play. There IS an option to play all the songs in random order, but you have to flip through every page on the disc to derive to it (of course it’s not on the front page), and you have to navigate up-right-right through every single page in order to do that. So basically it takes about 2 minutes and 25-30 button presses fair to be able to play all these songs you’ve already seen in random order. This is very lame, and my two year worn gets very impatient when I’m trying to do this for him. He’s actually sterling of playing the other DVDs on his gain… but he gets almost instantly frustrated with this one.

My advice: Rep the collection and objective leave the jukebox disc serve in the box. You’ll be pleased you did.

…this film is (for the lack of a better word) a dream–a dream you would not willingly want to wake up from. Completely and utterly mesmerizing, “The Dreamers” pays homage to film, Paris, the 60’s, and treasure. Apart from some of the awkward moments this movie tends to indicate sporadically, the movie itself was not mired by the abnormalities of some of the main characters. Though, this movie is one of the greatest I’ve ever viewed, it is not for everyone and cannot be readily recommended without reviewing some of the pros and cons I caught.

CONS:

-First off, if you’re offended, in any scheme, by frontal nudity from either sex… caution: it contains a lot!

-For some, if the ending is a chief factor in deciding that you like a movie, it is possible you could be dissapointed (it ends in an unlikely manner) . But if you can bask in the ending, it doesn’t distress the film at all… Maybe people were disappointed by the ending because they didn’t want it to destroy :)

-If not accustomed to slower-moving movies, based on a load of record depth or the like opposed to action or thiller movies, then it could be a let down.

But the cons are heavily outweighed by the pros…

PROS:

-For film buffs, Bertolucci doesn’t dissapoint. The b/w segments intermingled within the storyline are anything short of genius and, for me, was the most glowing and exciting fraction of this movie.

-For anti-censorship viewers, this movie could seem to be sent from heaven, because it doesn’t leave powerful out.

-The acting is on a par with almost perfection, all three main characters are played flawlessly and completely hold on the people they are supposed to evoke… Eva Green is especially improbable.

-The soundtrack is good as well. The tone that the music sets is completely appropriate and only adds to the dreamy atomsphere of the film; totally reminiscent of the 60’s.

-A perfect representation of Paris in the 60’s; eventhough the film’s centerpoint is the main characters and their relationship with one another, the artist’s home of Europe couldn’t be portrayed to be more shapely (with the exception of the student riots in foreground) .

It is difficult to conclude thinking of this movie, even between viewing other movies… if I could i’d give it six stars.

Bertolucci’s revolutionary film takes site in the tumultous summer of 1968 in which a young American, Matthew (Michael Pitt) has near to Paris to stare French. He becames a cinephile and a frequent patron of the Cinemateque Francais, the breeding ground for the Fresh Wave movement. Shortly after the firing of Langlois, he meets fellow cinephiles Isabelle (Eva Green) and Theo (Louis Cassel) and scores an invitation to dinner.

That’s how it begins, but this movie isn’t linear and it cannot be deciphered merely by the order of events. Quite frankly, I was amazed by Fox Searchlight releasing what may be one of the most revolutionary and sexually progressive films of original years. In the streets, the young and traditional found their revolutionary voices in 1968 and fought to institute governmental changes, but inside this chic apartment another revolution is taking region as well only this one involves fewer persons.

Matthew is clearly enamored of Isabelle and Theo (though this latter relationship isn’t as developed as in “The Holy Innocents”, which I found took away from the storyline) but he is not transfixed by them. He realizes that though they perceive the world, they purposely support themselves outside of it. Theo’s father correctly observes early in the movie that to understand the world and change it, you have to become fragment of it. This is a lesson Matthew is constantly aware of and tries to pass on to his novel friends. The first inkling of how grounded he is in this reality comes with the Zippo scene (my current) in which his casual observation of how a simple lighter fits into every possible plot. Life allows us to fit into many possible spaces as we constantly change and constantly search for the ideal region, but the cosmic lesson in it is that we will fit into them and consequently, will fit ideally into the one we purchase out. We must allow ourselves to inhabit the spaces and become portion of them in order to test the waters all the while and we do this by leaving the comfort of our novel status and become fragment of the overall world.

The sexual relationship between Isabelle and Matthew was passionate, realistic and completely believable. We live in very hypocritical times where nudity has become more taboo than violence and it was a pleasure to peek young people making esteem with all of the intimate gestures that rob station between lovers. It obviously takes a colossal director to pique our cinematic memories and remind us that it takes two nude bodies to originate like. The nude scenes between the brother and sister were a bit troublesome to the audience I saw this movie with, but the incestual nature of their relationship in the book has been erased. To me, they unprejudiced seemed dangerously, asphixiatingly crawl to each other, the nudity being unprejudiced share of said obsession.

All three actors do a handsome job, but it takes a bold director to demolish a film with a police action about to bewitch set to the sounds of Edith Piaf’s “Je Ne Regrette Rien”. Bertolucci understands his young protagonists and knows the many errors they will continue to commit before they select and resolve what is fair and what is unfavorable because he has been there himself. And he regrets nothing. We should all be so lucky.
